With a 2018 parade theme of "Land of Enchantment, Home of the Brave," this year's CCHS parade float honored the area's veterans of all wars. The emphasis is on the Home Front of WW2 - scrap drives, Victory gardens, Rosie the Riveter, and the Blue Star and Gold Star families listening anxiously to the radio for war news every evening.
