Second Win in a Row!  Historical Society Earns Second Prize in 2018 Fourth of July Parade!
With a 2018 parade theme of "Land of Enchantment, Home of the Brave," this year's CCHS parade float honored the       area's veterans of all wars.  The emphasis is on the Home Front of WW2 - scrap drives, Victory gardens, Rosie the Riveter, and the ​Blue Star and Gold Star families listening anxiously to the radio for war news every evening.

Historical Society Wins First Prize in 2017 Fourth of July Parade!
With a parade theme of "Olde Tyme Wild West Days," our CCHS parade float honored the area's historic cultures, groups and economies, helping to inspire more interest in the Society's mission, and draw in new members.

Other News- Honored For Leadership:  
Past President Randy Hoffman was recently presented with a plaque for his service to the Society since its formation in 2009, including serving as the president from 2011-2015.
